The Mpumalanga Tourism Expo is an annual tourism exhibition event hosted in September in the Mpumalanga Province in South Africa. The aim of the event is to promote domestic tourism, especially during Tourism Month and regional integration.
The tourism expo was started in 2021 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. The event provides a platform for the promotion of various tourism products and services. The event is a catalyst for tourism recovery and the growth of the sector.
Furthermore, the event provides an opportunity for provincial tourism students to interact with the exhibitors to learn more about tourism and witness ‘tourism in action’.
The 2024 tourism expo will be hosted from 27 to 29 September 2024 at Riverside Mall in the City of Mbombela, Mpumalanga Province, South Africa.
